오페어비자 수속해주겠다고 제안을 받은 모양이군요?
영국정부는 오페어비자를 해 주는 국가를 지정하고 있습니다.
이에 한국은 포함되어 있지 않습니다.
따라서 한국인은 오페어비자를 신청할 수 있는 대상이 되지 않으므로
한국인에게 오페어비자를 해 주겠다고 접근하는 것은 100% 사기입니다.

제가 프랑스 워킹홀리데이를 와 있는데,
오페어를 알아보고 있습니다. 프랑스에서 하려고요,
그래서 몇 개의 싸이트에 제 정보를 올리고 오페어 연락을 달라고 했는데,
엉뚱하게도, 영국에서 연락이 오더라구요,
그래서 메일을 해보고 있는데, 정말 좋은 집인거 같기도 하고 여러가지 좋은 좋건을
제시해 준다고 하는것도 마음에 들어서 좀 솔깃했습니다.
그래서 제가 마음에 든다고 하긴 했는데 비자를 만들자고 하는 겁니다.
제가 알기로는 영국은 최대 6개월까지 머물수 있고
안되도 3개월은 있을 수 있기때문에 우선 만나보고나서 비자만드는 걸 결정하자고
제안했어요. 근데도 제가 하는 제안에 대해서는 타당하지 않음에 대해서는 이야기하지
않고 계속 비자만들자고 하고 자기가 아는 분이 있으니 연락해보라고 하더라구요,
여기까지는 전혀 의심하지 않았는데, 이상한게 753 파운드의 금액을 요구하면서
자기가 나중에 다 줄테니 법률적 절차를 처리하는 것에 대해서 나보고 우선 일정부분
분담을 하자고 하더라구요.
저는 여기까지도 의심하지 않았는데요,
그래서 오늘 막 돈을 입금하러 갈까보다 하고 있긴한데,
이거 혹시 사기 아닌가 하는 생각이 들어서 검색해보니 진짜 그럴거 같네요,
제가 외국인이다보니 이러저러한 사이트에서 만들어 놓은 모든 조건을 찾아볼 수도 없고
말이죠. 연락처가 진짜 인지 아닌지도 알아볼 수 없구요,
아래에는 그동안 주고 받은 메일을 번역해 놓았습니다.

sister/brother to the chidlren as well as having lots of fun with us.

lesson as soon as you start working with us and we are only a 10 minute drive from

train station is only 5 minutes away and it takes just over an hour to get to London.

There will be a few hours a week of sole charge of Tom until September when he will

But I am not sure working in UK and staying is regal for me. I have to check about

1) What is your nationality?

My nationality is South Korea. I have a Visa for Working holiday in France for one
year.

Because I have no Working Visa in UK, that can be problem to work in U.K.
영국에서의 노동비자가 없기때문에 이것에 영국에서 일하는데 문제가 될 수 있습니다.
2) Have you ever traveled outside your home country before?
이전에 해외여행을 한 경험이 있나요?
When I was middle school student, I have traveled L.A. for 3 months.
제가 중학생이었을때, 3개월간 LA를 여행했습니다.
But after that, I have no time to abroad travel because of study in school.
하지만 그 후에는 학교 공부를 하느라 해외여행을 다닐 시간이 없었습니다.
But I have traveled inside of Korea a lot.
하지만 국내여행은 많이 다녔습니다.
For example, Jeju Island where have a beautiful landscape, Kyung-ju where was a
capital of ancient, chun-cheon where is my grand papa’s house. Mainly I have
traveled Kangwon-do where is surrounded by high mountain.
아름다운 경치를 가진 제주도나 고대 수도였던 경주, 할아버지가 계신 춘천이 예입니다.
주로 높은 산으로 둘러싸인 강원도를 여행했습니다.
3) Have you much experience working with kid’s?

Last summer, I have lived with my brother’s family and I have taken care of my
nephew.

He is 1 years old boy. I love him so much.

And I have worked in hakwon which is private education school during my university
days.

My students are usually 14~18 years old boys and girls. And I am good at teaching
and getting along with children.

I have an older brother. He is 8 years older than me. And He has a son who I have
taken care of.

7) Do you Drive?

I can drive in Korea. But I have no International driving license. So, I must not drive in
here^^;;

8) Do you mind doing light cooking?
음식준비하는게 싫은가요?
I like cooking. I can make some Korean food but not familiar to and good at western
food yet.
But I am really interested in learning recipe.
저는 음식하는 것을 좋아합니다. 한국음식은 만들수 있지만 서양 음식은 아직 익숙하지 않
고 잘하지 못합니다. 그러나 요리법 배우는 것에 정말 관심이 많습니다.
9) Can you help with shopping?
쇼핑하는 것을 도와줄 수 있나요?
Yes, Absolutely. I have to!! 네 , 마땅히 해야죠.
I like to go to shop and look around. Also I can take care of your children when
shopping.

10) Can you help with housework? 집안일 도와줄 수 있나요?
Yes, Absolutely. I can do housework like meal preparing, playing with boys, bathing,
making boys to sleep, taking the boys on outings/trips, washing and ironing and light
housework.
네, 당연하죠. 저는 밥 만들기, 아이들과 놀기, 목욕시키기, 재우기, 여행하기, 가벼운 집안
일 정도는 할 수 있습니다.
But I am not sure I can take them to and from school because I have no international
driving license.
그러나 아이들을 등교시키는 것을 도울 수 있을지는 모르겠습니다. 왜냐면 저는 국제운전
면허가 없거든요.
As I said, the condition you will provide to me is really awesome.
말했다시피, 당신이 제공하는 조건은 정말 훌륭합니다.
It must be great condition like studying in language school, meeting other families and
au-pair, living in your house have a pool and garden, payment, accommodation, etc.

이 있는 집에서 산다는 것, 월급, 숙소 등 말입니다.
But I must know about the Visa problem whether I can stay in UK more than 90 days
without Visa. After then, I can answer whether I can or not.

가 할 수 있는지 없는지 대답할 수 있겠네요.
It can be takes time more than I expected. So, it has some possibility to bother you.

I am so happy because you are satisfied with me. I promise I will be your really great
au-pair. My trip will be Nov. 9~26. I will arrive London at 26, wed, Nov. After that time,
I can stay in UK^^
When I was in Korea, there are no way to stay in UK for a long time except student
visa, which needs a lot of money, and working visa, which it is not for me but who
have a professional job.
I really want to get opportunity to work as au-pair in UK.
But I have to clear some things.
At first, I like to live in France. I wished to live in France when I was in Korea, and I
am satisfied with living in here. Nowadays, I am looking for a French family as au-
pair.
Second, once I arrive your family, we can face some problem for example ‘I am less
than what your expectation’. Then we need to adjust something. The worst situation,
I have to leave.
We cannot guarantee both of problems is fine. I mean I want both of us not to regret
because of asymmetric information.
Why don’t you give me an opportunity to be au-pair at most 6 months before contact to
law firm?
If the law is involved, we will have to pay some opportunity cost. For example, we
cannot change our situation more easily, spend some time and cost, etc. Also, au-
pair don’t need to report to government as I know so tax problem will be not involved.
(I think law problem is just staying)
Actually I am worried I cannot be stay both UK and France dishonorably.
I can stay in UK at most 6 months without special permission. Within the duration we
can know and understand each other better now.
It won’t be too late to decide to resolve the law problem later.

I am planning to be au-pair in Joana’s family. But I have no Visa to live in UK.
저는 조안나 가족의 오페어가 되려고 계획중입니다. 그러나 UK에서 살 수 있는 비자가 없

At first I will introduce myself. 우선 제 소개를 하겠습니다.
I am 22 years old Korean girl. And now I live in France with working holiday visa.
저는 22세의 한국인이고 워킹홀리데이 비자로 프랑스에 와있습니다.
And I am going to travel Europe and I will arrive UK which is my last destination.
그리고 저는 유럽여행을 할 것이고 마지막 도착지로 영국에 갑니다.
I know I can stay in UK at most 6 months without Visa according to contract between
Korea and UK.
한국과 영국간의 조약에 근거해 제가 비자없이 최대 6개월 간 영국에 머물 수 있다는 것을
압니다.
But joana want to know I can get the Visa which can makes me stay in UK longer.
그러나 조안나는 영국에 오래 머물 수 있게하는 비자를 받을 수 있는 지 알기 원합니다.
Can you help me? 저를 도와줄 수 있나요?
