Change to the list of approved English language test providers

The UK Border Agency has withdrawn the following organisation and test from its list of approved English language test providers for Tier 1 and Tier 2 of the points-based system:

For Tier 1 or Tier 2 applications made on or after 11 February 2010, this test will not be accepted as evidence that the applicant has met the English language requirement. Applications relying on this test will be refused.

Applications made before 11 February 2010
If you made a Tier 1 or Tier 2 application before 11 February 2010 which included an English language test awarded by Britain's Education Services as evidence of your English language ability, we will send you a letter (provided we have no other reason to refuse your application) explaining how to progress your application.
We will give you the opportunity to take an alternative English language test with another approved test provider. For details of approved test providers, see the English language page for Tier 2.
You will need to take the alternative test within 10 weeks of the date of the letter from us.
If you do not pass the alternative test on the first attempt, we will not hold your application open so that you can attempt it again. We will finish considering your application on the basis of the evidence already supplied - which means that we will refuse your application because you will not have scored 10 points for English language.
